It is a good idea to spend some time checking out the computer so you know what is on it and where everything is located. That way when you need to find something you can go right to it.

Another thing to know and do is each time you create a file, folder or document on the computer be sure to file it immediately to in an easy to access folder that you appropriately name.

This will keep the OS system from becoming too cluttered, which will make it more difficult to find what you need to without any difficulty.

With all of this information in mind, you now understand what the computer operating system really is and why it is so vital to the computer. Remember this information and it will help you use your computer more efficiently and will also help you keep it more organized so you never have problems locating anything you need to access on the computer.
